The Zimmerman Verdict - Biblical Jurisprudence (Generations Radio)

"In the wake of the Zimmerman Verdict, we take a look at the case from a biblical perspective. The only possible standard for justice is a biblical, God-derived ethical standard. Thus, the Generations team takes some time to work through the case, removing the emotional, political, and 'racial' intonations that work hard to erode justice in our day."

Numbers 35 gives the penalty for taking human lives. A murderer is sent to Jehovah. An accidental death is forced to live in a city of refuge until the next High priest comes. I would suggest a self defense death should have the same penalty. Substitute the US house of Representive of his district.
