Why election day sermons?
In days past, it was common practice for pastors to address the citizens and the office holders, around election time, reminding them of the biblical duties of both the voter and the civil magistrate.
About Pastor Weaver:
Pastor John Weaver is one of America's most sought after
pastors. He was called into the ministry in 1965. Pastor Weaver earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and attended graduate school at Bob Jones
University. He has pastored and helped plant several churches and Christian
schools. He has authored three books: The Christian and Civil Government, The
Sovereignty of God and Civil Government, and The Biblical Truth About God's
Righteous Vengeance. Like Paul, his goal is to preach the whole counsel of God,
something that is sadly missing in today's pulpits. Pastor Weaver is a
distinguished graduate (multiple times) from Front Sight Firearms Training
Institute and also teaches the Front Sight methodology in his training classes.
